It is a much coveted job as they get paid well from doing tourist EVAs. They also have to help with fire safety.

Guild Politics
The EVA Guild is a closed off group who likes to have a monopoly on the whole EVA business. They tend not to interact with/not like people outside their guild until they hear that someone's training to join them.
