Nora is Martin Svoboda's spectrometer. It is a wall mounted machine in Svoboda's lab in the ESA Research Center in Artemis.[1]
An optical spectrometer (spectrophotometer, spectrograph or spectroscope) is an instrument used to measure properties of light over a specific portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, typically used in spectroscopic analysis to identify materials.[2]
Martin uses her to confirm that the ZAFO was mostly glass but also to find trace amounts of tantalum, lithium and germanium.
